SR ANALYST CORPORATE REPORTING The Senior Analyst, Corporate reporting, will be an integral member of the company\'s Corporate Reporting team. This team is responsible for the company\'s SEC filings, FAS 123r calculations and compliance, and managing the company\'s purchase accounting for a historically active acquisition program. T
he individual will take on a significant role within the Corporate Reporting team - primarily with respect to supporting M&A accounting and SEC filings. Areas of focus include: managing purchase accounting ledgers and related balance sheet account and inter-company account reconciliation; maintaining goodwill, intangible assets, restructuring reserve and deferred revenue hair cut roll forward schedules; assisting in preparing 10Q, 10K and 11K filings; interacting with the external audit; assisting with FAS 123R reporting; providing purchase accounting related support to tax, consolidation, and technical accounting and other functions as needed; partnering with the Controller\'s function to disseminate guidance on M&A related accounting and reporting requirements; spearheading SOX 404 compliance for the Corporate Reporting team by ensuring proper documentation and providing testing support; assisting with other special projects.
The Corporate Reporting team is supported by multiple functions at the company. Therefore, a strong willingness and ability to work proactively with functional teams is critical. Preferred skills of candidates include: Strong GAAP knowledge Extensive background with GL accounting and corporate reporting Extreme attention to detail (the importance of detail orientation for this position cannot be over emphasized) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Results orientation: the ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task Action-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines and turnaround requests in short order Five to seven years of total accounting or financial reporting experience; with CPA preferred
